• Who can book it?

Cafe Pablo is available to all tenants living in Kungshamra for a small rental fee per booking. 

• What is available in Cafe Pablo?

There are tables and chairs for 20 people, sofas and tall tables. The kitchen is equipped with plates, cups, glasses, cutlery, a dishwasher, a coffee machine and regular appliances. Music equipment is available upon request. There is also a ping-pong table, darts and board games, as well as an overhead projector with a screen. There are two toilets with toilet paper and soap.

• How much does it cost?

The cost to rent Cafe Pablo for a day is 500 kr. 

You will also be required to put down a deposit of 1500 kr which may be returned after your booking depending on the state of the facility when you hand over the keys.

• When can I book it?

You can book it from Monday to Saturday, between 12:00 and 22:00.

• Am I allowed to stay at Cafe Pablo after 22:00?

Absolutely NOT. Lights turn off automatically after 22:00 and it is mandatory to leave the place then. There are people who live on top of the Cafe and we must not disturb them after that time. If there are any complaints, you might lose part of your deposit. 

• Is there free cancellation?

You can cancel the booking for free up to three days before the date of your event. Otherwise, a late cancellation fee of 200 kr will be charged. Example: if you have a booking on a Saturday, you can cancel for free until - and including - the previous Tuesday.

• How can I book it?

• How many people can fit?

Cafe Pablo has a capacity of up to 20 people which must not be exceeded due to fire safety regulations.

• How accessible is Cafe Pablo?

Cafe Pableo has a ramp at the entrance.

• Can I organize an open event for everyone at Kungshamra?

Of course! If you want to make an event for everyone at Kungshamra you could be able to use Cafe Pablo for free! Please contact the board with your suggestion in advance to discuss further.

• Are there any rules that apply to the booking?

Yes. When you book Cafe Pablo, you pay a fee and a deposit, which will be refunded to you when the keys are returned and the cleaning status is checked. You can read more on the contract at the bottom of the page and in "Inspection and Fines". By proceeding with the payment you agree to the terms and conditions stated on the contract and this website.

• I would like to inspect Cafe Pablo before I book it, what can I do?

Review the phots at the top of this page and visit Kostnix on Wednesday evenings, 20:00-21:30!

• I have some more questions, who should I contact?

If you still have questions or there is information you can't find, you are welcome to contact the Cafe Pablo coordinator. Please keep in mind that it may take some days to get a response.

Please read all the information on this web page prior to booking.

1. When you decide to book Cafe Pablo, please contact the KHF Cafe Pablo Coordinator (kungshamra.cafepablo@gmail.com) at least 2 weeks (the earlier the better) in advance otherwise you might not able to get the requested date for booking. Please include following information in your email:

• Swedish ID Card or any Passport

• Your SSSB Contract, signed by you and SSSB. You must live in Kungshamra.

Note: If you are having a Second Hand Contract to live in Kungshamra, you must also include

• Your Second Hand Contract

• • • • Permission Letter/Document from SSSB regarding subletting

      • The original SSSB Contract, signed by your landlord and SSSB

      • Swedish ID Card or any Passport of the landlord

• Requested date for booking. If you know, please mention when during the day you are planning to hold your event.

• Your desired way of payment: 

a. Payment via PlusGiro: Your Swedish bank account details, along with clearing number, in which you would like to get back the deposition.

b. Swish. 

• Contact Number

You must write the requested date for booking and your name in the subject in format <Request for Booking on YYMMDD Firstname.Lastname> For example, Request for Booking on 161013 Bob.Dylan

2. After receiving a positive reply from the KHF Cafe Pablo Coordinator, you can proceed with the payment within one week. If you don't make the payment in time, you risk that your booking will be cancelled. 

• Amount: Rental Fee (500 SEK/day) + Deposition (1500 SEK) = 2000 SEK 

• Depending on your selected way of payment: 689120-4 (Plusgiro) or Swish 123-2660157. 

You must write the requested date for booking and your name in the message in format <YYMMDD Firstname.Lastname > For example, 161013 Bob.Dylan

3. After KHF has received the payment, you will receive a confirmation email for your booking. 

4. Some days before the booking date, the Cafe Pablo Coordinator will contact you to arrange a meeting to handle the keys. Please bring the following documents: 

•  Swedish ID Card or any Passport

• Two filled and signed copies of cafe pablo Hyresavtal (Cafe Pablo Rental Contract) (see attached documents below in the end of the page)

5. You must leave the place clean the day after the booking by 12:00. The Cafe Pablo coordinator will meet you again to pick the keys back and check the cleaning. If everything is correct, the deposit will be refunded in the following days. 

If you do not clean well, do not empty garbage bins, mop improperly, etc., you will not be given a second chance to clean at the time of inspection, instead the fine will be taken from your deposit.

• The fine for not cleaning the Cafe Pablo at all will be  1500 SEK.

• The fine for partially cleaning (improper mop, not emptying garbage bins etc) will be 500SEK.

• The fine for loosing the keys of Cafe Pablo will be 1500 SEK.

• The fine for any damage done to Cafe Pablo will be 1500 SEK or depending upon the price of broken article.

Finish cleaning before the meeting time. Regarding the inspection after any event, the decision of the KHF Cafe Pablo Coordinator is final.
