Where is it located?
It is located in Kungshamra 1, right above the SSSB office.
Who can book it?
The party hall is available for all tenants living in Kungshamra for a small rental fee per booking. The purpose is to provide the tenants with a place to arrange events, dinners, movie nights etc. You can see when the party hall is available on the calendar at the bottom of this page.
What is available in the party hall?
The party hall has tables and chairs for 40 people, sofas, tall tables to stand around, and bar chairs. The kitchen is equipped with plates, spoons, cups, glasses, cutlery, dishwasher, coffee machine and regular appliances. TV, music equipment and three microphones are also available, as well as a pool table (for an extra fee). There are two toilets on the premises with toilet paper and soap.
How much does it cost?
Party hall rent is 900 SEK and you will also be required to put down a deposit of 2600 SEK which may be returned after your booking depending on the state of the facility when you hand over the keys. So a total payment of 3500 SEK is required in order to book the party hall.
When can I book it?
You can book it for a whole day up to one week in advance. Keys are handled around noon of the booking day and returned at 9:00 the next day of the booking (so that it gives you plenty of time to clean).
Is there free cancellation?
You can cancel the booking for free up to seven days before the date of your event. Otherwise, a late cancellation fee of 300 SEK will be charged. For example: if you have a booking on a Saturday, you can cancel for free until - and including - Friday of the previous week.
How can I book it?

How many people can fit?
There is a capacity of 50 people which must not be exceeded due to fire safety regulations.
How accessible is the party hall?
The party hall is adapted with an elevator, wide doors and a big WC.
Can I organize an open event for everyone at Kungshamra?
Of course! If you want to make an event for everyone at Kungshamra you could be able to rent the party hall for free! Please contact the board with your suggestion in advance to discuss further.
Are there any rules that apply to the booking?
Yes. When you book the party hall, you pay a fee and a deposit, which will be refunded to you when the keys are returned and the cleaning status is checked. Who is responsible for cleaning the party hall?
KHF takes care of deep cleaning periodically throughout the year, but it is the tenant who rents the space that is responsible for cleaning after their booking. Some cleaning supplies may be available on-site but do not count on this. It is the responsibility of the person who signs the contract to provide their own cleaning materials. This allows us to keep the rental fees as low as we do.
I would like to inspect the Party Hall before I book it, what can I do?
We recommend you look through the photos on this page. If you want to see it in person, you can take a look from the outside during the opening times of the SSSB Office: just go upstairs and peek through the door!

*Confirmation of the booking: We confirm bookings one month before the booking date.
*Rental Contract: The contract should arrive in your email two weeks before your booking date which should be signed and sent back in 2 days to confirm the booking.
*Cancelation of the contract: You can cancel the booking one week in advance.
*Refund of the deposit: The deposit will be returned to you, in 2-4 weeks (if all the cleaning conditions are fulfilled)

Important to Know
Please note that smoking is strictly forbidden in all of our premises. The Party Hall has a central fire alarm and any emergency calls will be charged to the tenant using the party hall at that time.
Inform your guests about the emergency exit. For everyone's safety and security, do not block the emergency exit with anything. In case of emergency you must call police or emergency services.
The door can be opened with the key from the outside only. Do not forget the key inside and lock yourself out. Keep the key with you at all times.
While you are busy inside the party hall (upstairs), it is not safe and secure to leave the main entrance door (downstairs) opened. Please keep the main entrance door closed. Tip - leave your contact number on the main entrance door so your guests can alert you to let them in!
Do not disturb the neighbourhood with loud music or noises after 22:00 (weekdays) or 23:00 (weekends). You will be asked to close the party if there is any complaint. If security guards are sent, KHF will be charged and that will be deducted from the deposit.
Please do not play with the elevator.
Contact the party hall coordinator as soon as possible if you find anything damaged, not properly cleaned or out of place. Otherwise you could be made responsible for that.
Cancellation of the booking
A cancellation fee of 300 SEK will be deducted from the payment if the cancellation is made less than seven (7) days ahead of the booked date. The best case is to inform the KHF Party Hall Coordinator as soon as you decide to cancel your event.
Example: if you have a booking on a Saturday, you can cancel for free until - and including - Friday of the previous week.
Inspection and Fines
If you will not clean well, do not empty garbage bins, do not return the furniture to the proper location as shown in the photos, do not mop properly, etc, you will not be given a second chance to clean at the time of inspection, instead you have to pay the fine straight away.
The penalty fines are as follows:
The fine for breaking any items in the party hall or leaving it in a very bad state is the entire deposit, i.e.. 2600 SEK.
The fine for not cleaning the party hall at all will be the entire deposit, i.e 2600 SEK.
The fine for partially cleaning (improper mop, not emptying garbage bins, not cleaning stairs, etc) then fine will be 1500 SEK.
The fine for not returning the keys on time will be 300 SEK.
The fine for any kind of damages on the pool table will be at least 900 SEK. Severe damages on the pool table or equipment may lead to further fines if the damage exceeds the deposit amount.
This penalty fine list can also be found in the Party Hall, but if the amounts don't match, the fines stated on the website apply.
Finish cleaning before the meeting time. You must clean both inside the party hall and outside the party hall for example staircase and in front of the entrance, as well as make sure that all of the furniture is placed correctly and matches the photos. If you have questions, please ask them when you pick up the keys. Regarding the party hall inspection, the decision of the KHF Party Hall Coordinator is final.
